Christos Tsonis is the founder and a director of CXT Legal and holds law degrees from Flinders University Law School and the University of Melbourne.
Christos has a strong track record in mergers and acquisitions, capital and debt raisings and corporate governance, and has led the closings of many significant private market transactions.
Christos was included in the 2019 and 2020 editions of the Doyle’s Guide listing of leading and recommended South Australian Commercial Lawyers. In 2019, he also led the CXT Legal team to be recognised as one of South Australia’s fastest growing businesses by revenue, placing it in the Top 25 of the SA Fast Movers Program.

Christos also has a significant governance practice; he is a sought-after board director, particularly for organisations pursuing ambitious reform agendas (including private companies and not-for-profits/associations). Christos has currently accepted board appointments to the Education Standards Board (SA), Big Shed Brewery (Advisory Board mandate) and TYP Strategies Pty Ltd (a diversified financial).
Kaylah joined CXT Legal in 2016 as a law clerk in her final year at the University of Adelaide. She was admitted as a lawyer in May 2017 and now serves as an Associate and part of the Senior Legal Team, working closely with clients on corporate and commercial transactions and in private client law. Kaylah has closed (either as a transaction lead or as a member of the Senior Legal Team) many significant private market transactions.
Kaylah’s clients and colleagues describe her as hard working, organised, tenacious and efficient. She is committed to achieving the best outcome for clients in an efficient manner. If there is a roadblock, she always looks to determine a solution that will result in a desirable outcome. She never views anything as being too hard or unachievable – in fact, she likes to assist in challenging situations, ensuring that there is clear communication and clients are fully informed.
Kaylah enjoys working closely with the CXT Legal team to provide great outcomes for clients in a manner that doesn’t disrupt their business. She enjoys working with new people and businesses and being able to provide a positive contribution to them from a legal perspective.
In her free time, Kaylah serves as a member of the fundraising committee for a local primary school and is a volunteer assistant coach and team manager for a girls’ team at the Adelaide Comets Soccer Club.
Daniel joined CXT Legal in 2018 after gaining experience at other law firms. A university medallist from the University of South Australia, he thrives on getting into the detail and technical aspects of legal matters, particularly with mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Daniel plays a key role in bringing matters off the ground by drafting complex transaction suites and preparing corporate and commercial advisory notes, with application to fast moving transactions.
Clients and colleagues describe Daniel as hardworking, meticulous, and loyal. Daniel’s greatest strengths and skills are his attention to detail (leaving no stone unturned), his attitude of not giving up until the job is done, and his ability to connect with clients on a deeper level to understand their motives and commercial objectives.
Daniel gets the most out of his job when he is challenged but able to overcome complex legal issues and assist in positive outcomes for CXT Legal clients. He has always had an affinity for helping and supporting people, and he uses his legal skills to provide that help and support to his clients.
When he isn’t in the office, Daniel is very involved in his local soccer club and loves watching or playing soccer.
Alicia joined the CXT Legal team in early 2022 and practices as a lawyer in our commercial and corporate service lines.
Prior to joining the firm, she gained specialist experience as a lawyer at an Adelaide CBD law firm working in the areas of private client law, property transactions and employment law.

She values the importance of engaging with clients in a high-quality professional and composed manner and working collaboratively with clients to achieve positive outcomes. Alicia enjoys the dynamic team environment at CXT Legal and the opportunities the firm’s client base brings, which allows her to gain knowledge in various corporate and commercial matters.
Alicia studied Law and Arts at the University of Adelaide. Within her Arts degree, she majored in Italian Studies and can speak and translate the language.
Martha officially joined CXT Legal in April 2021; prior to this, she had a professional alliance arrangement with the firm. Since her admission to practice law in 2008, she has worked across a variety of areas including enduring and general powers of attorney, advanced care directives, applications for grants of probate and letters of administration, but she has predominantly been practising in the area of wills and estates.
Martha has been admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia, entered in the Register of Practitioners at the Registry of the High Court of Australia, and has completed her Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing.
Clients and colleagues describe Martha as being friendly, reliable, well organised and adaptable, as well as having good time management skills and a pragmatic approach to resolving client matters. Martha is respectful of others’ views and input and is known for working collaboratively with both clients and colleagues.
Martha is very passionate about the areas of law she practices, and it gives her great pleasure to be able to assist clients with their estate planning needs, as well as with the probate and administration process following the passing of a loved one. Martha is committed to providing the best possible outcome for every client.
Martha is proficient in Modern Greek, and for over 10 years she has been involved as a volunteer with the Messinian Association of SA Inc, where she has served as both a member and as president of the organisation’s executive committee.
As the Operations Manager for CXT Legal, Stacey oversees to the day-to-day operations of the business in all aspects, from finances to human resourcing. She is also responsible for setting the strategic objectives of the business and overseeing the delivery of the operational aspects of that strategy.
Stacey has been with CXT Legal since its inception, but more formally since 2016. Prior to working with CXT Legal, she worked in tax and business services before joining the University of Adelaide as the financial accountant for its Division of Services & Resources, overseeing a $100m+ budgeted turnover for a division that employed over 500 people.
Clients and colleagues describe Stacey as capable, motivated, engaging and someone who will always do her best to get the job done efficiently, working to uplift those around her. She provides an important, but calming, perspective to the legal team and is known for working well under pressure and successfully juggling multiple tasks at once.
As the joint owner of the business, Stacey feels personally invested in its success and continued growth. For her, the most rewarding part of the business has been creating a culture of ‘family’ in the office, where each person is valued for the work that they do.
When she’s not in the office – or chauffeuring her children to their various sporting engagements – she serves as the chair of the fundraising and community committee at a local primary school, which she has been a part of for more than four years. During this time, she and the committee have raised over $100,000.

Peter is an experienced executive and director with more than 30 years of expertise in strategic, corporate, commercial, financial and project management.
He has a passion for growing and improving businesses through innovation and effective engagement of all key stakeholders. He has specific experience and expertise in leading professional service organisations and businesses.
Peter has held senior executive and commercial management positions within public and private sections, bringing about change in the performance of those organisations.
In 2020, he accepted an advisory mandate with CXT Legal coinciding with the creation of its new strategic plan.
In 2021, that mandate translated into his appointment as Chair of the CXT Legal Advisory Board as the business enters a new stage of growth.
